Father's Day falls on Sunday 6 September 2026. If the men in your life are anything like the ones on our team, they have spent the year telling everybody not to make a fuss, then quietly wearing out the same jar of something on the bathroom shelf.
This guide is built around that. No BBQ tongs, no novelty socks. Every product below is made or blended in Australia, most of it around wild-harvested Tasmanian Kunzea, and all of it is the sort of thing he will actually finish rather than shelve.
We have sorted it by the kind of dad you are buying for, with a budget table up front if you already know what you want to spend.
Quick picks
- Safest bet overall: Relief + Recovery Duo. Our best-selling pair, and the hardest gift here to get wrong.
- Best new thing this year: the Native Man grooming range, which did not exist last Father's Day.
- Best under $25: Kunzea Pain Relief Cream 100g.
- If you want to go all in: the Pain Relief Program, covered in detail below.
- Left it late: a Zea eGiftcard lands in his inbox instantly.

For the Dad Who Is Always a Bit Sore
Most dads have a spot. A shoulder from years of work, a knee that complains on stairs, hands that stiffen up in the garden. He has probably mentioned it once, made a joke about getting old, and never brought it up again.
This is the category where a gift stops being a gesture and starts being genuinely useful, and it is where most people shopping this guide end up.
Kunzea Pain Relief Cream, the One to Start With
Our number one product, and the one the whole company grew out of. It is a topical cream built around Tasmanian Kunzea oil, listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration as AUST L 360 331, which helps relieve muscular aches and pains, joint pain, mild arthritis and mild nerve pain.
What makes it different from a standard chemist rub is the Kunzea itself. It is wild-harvested in north-east Tasmania rather than farmed, and it carries a fresh, bushy scent rather than the sharp menthol smell most people associate with a pain cream. That matters more than it sounds. Dads who refuse to use anything that announces itself across the room will happily use this one.
It comes in three sizes. The 20g tube is a good stocking filler or handbag size. The 100g tube is the standard gift and the one most people buy first. If he already uses it daily, the 240g pump works out significantly better value than replacing the 100g every few weeks, and the pump is easier on hands that are stiff in the morning.
Kunzea Roll On, for the Car and the Work Bag
The roll on solves a different problem. Most people keep their pain cream in the bathroom, which means they use it twice a day at best and never at the moment they actually need it.
Because this one is mess-free and works one-handed, it tends to live in the ute console, the golf bag or the desk drawer instead. It is the product our customers most often tell us they bought a second one of, purely so there is one in each place.
The Pain Relief Program, If You Want to Cover Everything
This is the set worth paying attention to, and it is unlike anything else in the range. Rather than a bundle of products that happen to go together, it is built as a staged program, so you can pick the level that matches how much support he actually needs and add to it later.
All three tiers are built on the same foundation of Kunzea Pain Relief Cream and work as a complete daily routine rather than a single-use product. The difference is how much of the day and how many problem areas they cover.
| Set | What it covers | Best for |
|---|---|---|
|
Pain Relief Program The starter set |
Four of our most effective formulas in one ready-to-use pack, giving targeted relief for muscles, joints and everyday aches. | A dad who is new to Kunzea and you want him to have a proper go at it. |
|
Complete Set Our best seller |
Everything in the starter set, plus a second full-size Pain Relief Cream so he never runs out, and a Magnesium Oil Topical Spray. | The obvious gift choice. Most people land here. |
|
Advanced Set The full picture |
Eleven products covering every aspect of pain management, muscle recovery and whole-body wellness. | A milestone birthday, a shared family gift, or a dad who lives with daily pain. |
If you are buying jointly with siblings, this is the easiest way to turn several small budgets into one gift that genuinely changes his week. Prefer something smaller and more focused? The Concentrated Combo pairs the Pain Relief Cream with our Concentrated Massage Oil, and is the strongest two-product option in the Kunzea range.
For the Active Dad
Whether he is still playing, coaching from the sideline, or just walking further than he used to, recovery is where the magnesium side of our range earns its keep. These are the products that get used the same day they are opened.
Relief + Recovery Duo, the Everyday Pair
If you only read one recommendation in this guide, make it this one. It pairs the Kunzea Pain Relief Cream with the MAGZEA™ Muscle Recovery Spray, which covers both halves of the problem: the cream for the ache that is already there, the spray for the tiredness that follows a session.
It is our best-selling duo, and the reason is simple. Almost every dad fits into it somewhere, whether he trains four times a week or just spent Saturday in the garden. If you are not confident about which category he belongs in, this is the safe answer.
MAGZEA™ Muscle Recovery Spray, for After a Session
Formerly sold as the Sports Cooling Spray, now reformulated and renamed. It combines magnesium with Kunzea in a fast-drying spray that helps ease tired, aching muscles without needing to be rubbed in properly, which makes it far more likely to actually get used after training.
It lives in a gym bag well. If he plays anything on a weekend, this is the one that ends up in the kit permanently.
Sauna & Cold Plunge Set, for the Contrast Therapy Convert
New this year, and available for a limited time only. Heat and cold therapy has gone from a niche athlete habit to something half the country is doing in a converted shipping container in the backyard, and this set is built for exactly that routine.
If he has started talking about ice baths, saunas or contrast therapy at family dinners, this is the gift that shows you were listening. It is also the most likely thing in this guide to sell out before Father's Day, so do not leave it until the last week.
Multi-Purpose Rescue Balm, for Everything Else
The product many long-time customers still call the Kunzea Muscle Balm, now reformulated and renamed. It is an all-natural balm that soothes muscles and calms the knocks, scrapes and bites that come with an outdoor life.
Buy it for the dad who is always mid-project. It is the one product here that solves five problems rather than one, which is why it tends to end up in the shed rather than the bathroom.
Worth reading alongside: our guides to a post-workout recovery routine and muscle recovery tips.
For the Dad Who Would Never Buy It for Himself
This is the newest part of the guide, and the part that did not exist when we last wrote it. Native Man is our natural skincare range for men, built on Australian natives including Kunzea, Kakadu Plum and Lemon Myrtle.
The design principle was simple: no dad is running a seven-step routine. Every product does two jobs, so the whole range is four bottles rather than ten, and nothing needs explaining.
The Ultimate Mens Skincare Bundle, the Whole Range in One Box
The complete range together: the Wash + Shave, the Moisturiser + Aftershave, the Citrus Hair + Body Shampoo, the Face + Beard Oil and a wooden comb, presented in a Native Man canvas bag.
If you want one gift that clearly took thought and looks substantial when he opens it, this is the strongest option in the guide. The canvas bag does a lot of work here, because it means you do not need to wrap anything.
2-in-1 Face + Beard Oil, If You Buy One Thing
Our newest Native Man product and the one we would put in front of a first-time buyer. It softens and conditions the beard while hydrating the skin underneath, which is where beard itch and flakiness actually come from. Most beard oils only treat the hair, which is why they stop working after a week.
The blend is Kunzea, lavender, black pepper, patchouli and sandalwood. It smells like something he would have picked himself, which is not something you can say about most gifted grooming products, and it absorbs quickly enough that he can use it before work rather than only on weekends.
The Daily Two, for a Simpler Gift
If the full bundle is more than you want to spend, the 2-in-1 Wash + Shave and the 2-in-1 Moisturiser + Aftershave are the two he will use every single morning.
The Wash + Shave is an aloe vera based gel that cleanses and doubles as a shave gel, so it replaces two products in the shower. The Moisturiser + Aftershave calms skin straight after shaving and works as an everyday moisturiser the rest of the time. Add the Citrus Hair + Body Shampoo and a Native Man canvas gift bag to build your own set at your own budget.
For the Dad With a Dodgy Back or Neck
Another category that is new since the last version of this guide. Our heat packs are filled with natural Australian lupin rather than wheat, which holds temperature longer and does not develop the smell wheat packs get after a year of reheating. They work both ways: microwave them for heat, or put them in the freezer for cold.
Premium Neck & Shoulder Heat Pack, for Desk and Driving
Shaped to sit across the shoulders and stay put, so he can keep reading or watching television rather than holding it in place. This is the obvious pick for a dad at a desk all day or behind a windscreen for a living, where the tension collects in the same place every time.
Hip & Back Heat Wrap, for Lower Back Stiffness
This one straps on, which means he can keep moving around the house while wearing it. Good for lower back and hip stiffness, and much more likely to be used than a pack that pins him to the couch. There is also a rectangle version if you want something that works anywhere, knees included.
Pair any of these with a pain relief cream and you have covered both halves of the problem. We wrote about why in Heat Packs vs Pain Creams: What Works Better at Night? and How to Use Heat, Cold and Topical Relief.
For the Culinary Dad
If he is the one who insists on cooking his own Father's Day breakfast, feed the habit. Everything in our Zea Gourmet range is Australian, and most of it comes from the same corner of Tasmania as the Kunzea in our pain relief products.
Kunzea Honey, the One That Started the Pantry Range
This is 100% raw, single origin honey produced by bees working Kunzea in north-east Tasmania, the same country our essential oil is harvested from. It is unheated and unfiltered, so it keeps the character that gets processed out of supermarket honey, and it has the awards to back that up.
The flavour surprises people. It is more savoury and resinous than a clover honey, which makes it better on a cheese board or through a marinade than most people expect. If he already knows this one, the Flinders Island Native Wildflower Honey is the natural second jar.
Australian Native Bush Dukkah, for the Cook Who Dips Everything
A blend of native Australian botanicals, nuts and seeds for dipping, crusting and scattering. This is the gift that quietly takes over a kitchen: it starts on the bread and oil, and within a month it is on the roast vegetables, the eggs and the barbecued lamb.
Native Blend Pink Lake Salt, for the Barbecue
Australian pink lake salt blended with native botanicals. Small, genuinely useful, and a good way to add something to a gift without pushing the budget up. If he is the designated barbecue operator in the family, it will get used within the week.

For the Dad Who Needs to Switch Off
Some dads do not need another thing to rub on. They need a reason to sit down. These are the gifts that give him permission to stop for twenty minutes.
Kunzea Relief Tea, the Newest Way In
One of our newest products and a genuinely different way to bring Kunzea into his day. It is a naturopath-formulated loose leaf blend built around Kunzea ambigua and paired with seven organic botanicals.
This is the smart pick for the dad who already owns the cream and the roll on, because it is the first thing we have made that uses Kunzea internally rather than topically. It is also an easy daily ritual to start, which is usually what makes a wellness gift stick. There is more detail in our full guide to the tea.
Kunzea Bath Salts, for a Proper Soak
Macrobiotic sea salts combined with Kunzea, for the end of a week that has gone on too long. If he has a bath and never uses it, this is the nudge. Pair it with the heat pack above and you have built a decent wind-down routine out of two products.
Shower Steamer Trio, for Dads Who Never Take Baths
The practical answer for the large number of men who will simply never run a bath. Three steamers, Relax, Refresh and Renew, that sit on the shower floor and release aromatic vapour as the water hits them. It turns a five-minute shower into something closer to a reset, with no change of habit required. See our beginner's guide if you have not used them before.
Calming Lifestyle Blend, for the Evening
An essential oil blend traditionally used to support sleep quality and ease nervous tension and mild anxiety. On its own it is a modest gift, so pair it with a ceramic diffuser to make it a complete one.
For the Scent-Loving Dad
Kunzea Essential Oil, the Oil the Company Is Built On
This is where Zea started. It is wild-harvested in Tasmania rather than farmed, which means every batch is slightly different and none of it can be scaled up on demand. The scent is fresh and bushy, closer to standing in Tasmanian scrub than to anything on a shelf.
The 10mL bottle is the standard gift. If he already uses it constantly, there is a 100mL bottle. New to it? Start with What Is Kunzea Oil?
Fragonia Essential Oil, the Natural Partner to Kunzea
Grown in Western Australia and long paired with Kunzea for a balanced, grounding bushland aroma. The two together are the combination we get asked about most, and they make a better gift as a pair than either does alone.
For a dad building out a collection, the Coastal Tea Tree and Peppermint Gum Eucalyptus are two more distinctly Australian scents. Add a Crystal Light Diffuser for the desk or the shed.
Small Gifts and Stocking Fillers
For a hamper, a Kris Kringle, or a second small thing alongside the main gift:
- Kunzea Pain Relief Cream 20g, pocket sized and our cheapest way in.
- Wooden Beard & Hair Pocket Comb, natural wood and wide-toothed.
- Vapour Rub natural chest balm, useful for the rest of winter.
- Single shower steamers, if the trio is more than you need.
- Zea Premium Linen Toiletry Case, for the dad who travels.
- Native Man canvas gift bag, which turns anything above into a proper gift.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is Father's Day 2026 in Australia?
Sunday 6 September 2026. Australia and New Zealand mark it on the first Sunday of September, unlike the UK and US, which use the third Sunday of June. If you are posting a gift to family overseas, check which date applies before you send it.
How late can I order?
Order at least a week ahead where you can, and earlier for regional and remote addresses. Current dispatch and delivery timeframes are on our shipping page. If you have run out of time, a Zea eGiftcard is emailed straight away and lets him choose himself.
He says he does not want anything. What do I get?
Something consumable that solves a problem he already has. A gift that runs out does not become clutter, which is usually the real objection behind that answer. The Relief + Recovery Duo or a single Kunzea Pain Relief Cream get used rather than stored, which is the whole point.
Is Kunzea Pain Relief Cream suitable for older dads?
It is a topical product listed with the TGA (AUST L 360 331) and used by many of our customers well into their eighties. The pump on the 240g size is easier to manage than a tube for hands that are stiff or arthritic. As with any therapeutic product, read the label and use only as directed. If he is on prescription medication, has a skin condition, or is unsure, have him check with his pharmacist or GP first.
Can I put a gift together myself?
Yes, and it usually goes down better than a pre-made set because it looks chosen rather than bought. Pick two or three items from the sections above and add a canvas gift bag. A cream, a roll on and a jar of honey covers most dads for under a hundred dollars.
What if he already has the Pain Relief Cream?
Move sideways rather than buying a second tube. The Kunzea Relief Tea and the Native Man range are both new enough that he almost certainly does not own them, and both are still recognisably from the same family of products.
The Short Version
If you want the safe answer, buy the Relief + Recovery Duo. If you want the gift that looks most impressive out of the box, buy The Ultimate Mens Skincare Bundle. If several of you are going in together, buy a tier of the Pain Relief Program.
Everything here comes from a company that started as a family market stall in Tasmania in 2016. We are a Certified B Corporation and a member of 1% for the Planet, and the Kunzea at the heart of the range is still wild-harvested in Tasmania by the same family who have done it from the beginning. It is a gift with a story attached, which tends to matter more than the wrapping.
